FHV is pleased to announce the grand re-opening of Bartram Court, a cluster of Independent Living apartments that has been newly renovated at the Friends Village campus. To mark the occasion, we will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening celebration on Saturday June 9, 2018.
As the third oldest retirement community in Pennsylvania, FHV has long been a part of Bucks County history. Friends Home was established and took in its first Senior Living Residents in 1897. Friends Home’s sister campus, Friends Village, opened in 1983 as a result of a land donation given by the Styer family under the provision that it be used to build a retirement community.
In 2014, FHV began developing plans to upgrade some of the Independent Living apartments at its Friends Village campus. The completion and occupancy of the first of those apartments took place this year. Along with the new renovations, and because of the garden-like feel of its location, the set of apartments was renamed Bartram Court after early American Quaker botanist, horticulturalist, and explorer, John Bartram.
Grand re-opening festivities will include a family style barbeque picnic, games, and will feature the music of the Quaker folk band, “Fools and Prophets.”
Please join us to celebrate! Festivities begin at 4:30pm. To RSVP, complete the form below. Can't wait to see you!
