EVENT SPONSORED BY

Featuring Joseph’s Catering, this evening promises great food, fun, and friends!

In 1980, Darlington & Helen Styer made the courageous decision to donate their stone farmhouse and seven acres of their surrounding apple orchard to Friends Boarding Home of Bucks Quarterly Meeting.  This would later become the thriving Styer Hall/Friends Village campus of Friends Home & Village (FHV).

For almost 40 years, FHV has carefully stewarded the Styer legacy.

But stewardship alone is not enough.

Our donors (YOU!) play a crucial role in the success of Friends Home & Village. Your generosity keeps alive our Mission: to provide moderately-priced, small-community retirement living in a caring environment.

And much like a beloved quilt that wears over time, patches of our beloved Friends Village campus require attention. This project helps bring new life to the well-used resources in our community.

Inspired by this project, FHV Residents partnered with the generous members of the Newtown Quilters’ Guild to create a commemorative quilt as a symbol of this important campaign of campus rejuvenation.

Residents will unveil the quilt at this event!
