Writing It Out.

Our days are frequently punctuated by apperceptions, revelations, sudden memories, whimsical thoughts and ideas, moments of joy, moments of sadness. We usually move on from such moments to attend to the business of daily life, but they are still there for us to mull over, analyze, or play with as we will, if we will. Writing can be a way of recapturing them in order to allow them to live again in our hearts and our minds. This four-week workshop will explore various modes of writing—including, but not limited to, journalling, fiction, non-fiction, and poetry—as diverse approaches to the mining of our personal experience. During individual sessions participants will share their own work, give feedback, and explore possibilities. All writing opportunities will be tailored to participants’ individual needs and interests.

This four-week workshop will be facilitated by author and teacher, Terry Culleton. Terry has taught writing and literature for more than forty years and is the author of A Communion of Saints (2011) and Eternal Life (2015).  His work has been featured on radio and cable TV shows in Pennsylvania and New York as well as NPR.
